June saw most of the office team at Select being invited to one of our key suppliers to see their production and operations – to find out what makes them a good supplier to work with. They were warmly welcomed and given a guided tour to see the buzz of the whole operation of the company. It was particularly interesting to see a variety of products being branded such as pens and water bottles and speak to the machine operators, which helps give a greater understanding of the products we sell. The organisation and orderliness of the production was impressive and gave us ideas how to improve the efficiencies of our own in-house production, which is largely hot foiling.
The team came home freighted with gifts, proving the benefit of keeping an excellent supplier relationship.
