This month we have been pleased to help with reforestation in Kenya, funding the planting of 42 trees, near the Shimba Hills Nature Reserve. This has helped putting a smile on the face of Hilder, pictured above, all helped through our partnership with the Ecologi program.
Pictured below is another project we have supported this month in Kenya at the Kakamega Forest – afraid only three trees this time – supported by One Acre Fund.
Nearer to home we began the year in January funding the planting of 6 trees in Uigshader on the Isle of Skye, then last month in September we supported wildflower enhancement project at Dumyat in Scotland, not far from the Stirling University. For these projects Ecolgi are working with The Future Forest Company – assisted with Highland cattle in the meadows.
