June and July saw the team at Select shipping to a record number of countries. Exports are not something we relish, but if that’s what our customers want, we can do it! The tally reached 26 different countries -a multitude of European countries, and further afield including Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa.
Mostly our exports don’t run into too many problems; the mostly lengthy shipping was one parcel was to Romania at just over two weeks, where we had to translate the commercial invoice into Romanian to satisfy the customs! The fastest delivery was to Oberursel in Germany, by 9.41 the next morning, followed closely by Malmo in Sweden, delivered at 10.01, after being only booked at 4.30pm the previous afternoon, using TNT/Fedex, the main courier we use for exporting.
